Dylan Jones Charged with Failing to Render Aid to Pedestrian He Hit in West Harris County
Around 7:30pm on Thursday, January19, 2012 Keylon Napper was struck by driver, 24 year old Dylan Jones, as he was crossing the street at Rio Bonito and Howell on his way into work at H-E-B.
Keylon Napper was taken to Memorial Hermann by lifeflight. He is now recovering with a broken right femur, which he under went surgery for on the morning of Friday, January 20,2012, a large laceration on left leg, and multiple cuts and bruises. He is stated to be in serious but not life threatening condition.
Dylan Jones has since been arrested and charged with failure to stop and render aid. A witness stated Mr. Jones originally got out of his vehicle, but quickly returned stating he could not stay and drove off. Additional charges could be filed against Mr. Jones pending outcome of blood test.
